Prophet's Playhouse

Our 3rd-5th graders participate in a class called "Prophet's Playhouse" on Wednesday nights.  During these classes the children focus on several stories in Scripture and use plays or skits to teach these stories to others.  They also focus on developing the skills of scripture reading, song leading, and public prayer.  These skills are demonstrated as our children lead the worship services at Martin Boyd Christian Home and East Brainerd Church of Christ.   The kids did an amazing job and had fun  learning God's word.  Thank you to our adult leaders!

WATS: We Are The Sermon

WATS: We Are The Sermon

Each year our church dedicates one day where all members commit to reach out to our community together and be the hands and feet of Jesus.  WATS (We Are The Sermon) is a time for us to "Love All and Serve All" just like Jesus demonstrated throughout His life.  It was a great day of worship and service for our family.  Here are a few pictures of our children serving and showing God's love in the community.

1st Grade Bible Presentations

First Grade Bible Presentations

This Sunday we presented each first grader with a Bible.  The children were so excited to stand up on stage in the worship center and receive their very own Bible.  We lifted these children, their families, and teachers up in prayer.  Continue to pray that God will work in the lives of these children in a powerful way.  He made EACH of these precious children in His image and has a special plan for each one.  Continue to pray for their families, that they will guide and instruct them to love and serve the Lord.

Newborn Celebration 2015

Today, we at East Brainerd CoC took time to welcome the newest additions to our "Family."

We asked that the babies, along with their parents and siblings (since the babies can't walk), come to the front to be introduced and prayed for. What a blessing to have such cute new members!
